Now you can link to your Periscope account directly from your Twitter web profile!
Recently we saw how to turn on Twitter Live Video notifications so that you can be notified only when they go live on Periscope instead of every time they tweet.
Show your Twitter followers when you go live
Twitter continues to strengthen its integration with its live streaming video app Periscope with a new feature, a link to your Periscope profile that flashes “LIVE on Periscope” with a pulsating red Periscope icon right in your Twitter Profile!
This means that anyone looking at your Twitter page will see the flashing red “LIVE on Periscope” indicator when you are broadcasting and can click it to go straight to your Periscope account.
How to Set up the Periscope link on your Twiter profile
It’s really easy to set up right from your Twitter account, here’s how:
Steps:
- Click Edit Profile
- Click Show my Periscope profile
- Click Save
Show your Twitter followers when you are live on Periscope by adding the “View on Periscope” link to your Twitter profile. Note that this is for your Twitter Web profile only, and will not display on mobile versions of Twitter.
